You said Hair Conditioner didn't you?
Most likely. I forget. I should use some though. It's falling out fast.
I started the 944 for the first time in almost 3 months tonight. The battery was a little weak. |
is yours like mine? has refrigerant, working compressor but no cold air
The compressor clutch on my 944 is not pulling in. Is there a fuse or relay I should check? Does the 83 944 have a pressure switch to interlock the compressor clutch?
Mine has cold air and works as it should, but tell me more, Vicious. It might be a vacuum leak or heater valve and blend door problem.
mjadair, have you run 12v to the compressor? The pressure switch is on the drier behind the driver side headlight. There may also be a shorted circuit on the electrical board that is under the drivers side kick panel, to the right of the glove box. It depends on what is wrong with the compressor, hook it up with 12 volts with low amperage. I would not run a compressor with little to no freon and or oil for very long. Only long enough to verify electrical problems. |
