Decided to sell my car

Figure i post this up to try and get some more exposure. I am putting up my '88 951 for sale. Here is a link for the ad up in the Pelican classifieds.

FS: Well equipped street / track '88 944 Turbo

The gist of it is i am selling the car for $14.5k. I have many upgrade parts i am looking to sell also and have a 'package' deal for anyone interested. Please see my ad for details.

Ive been debating a 993 for a long time and decided to put things in motion.

Thanks for the compliments.

The 993 will be on the track for sure. I have been thinking about doing this for a long time and seeing one particular 993 pop up for sale has been the catalyst to get things moving.

There has been a big turn over of long term 944 owners in the last year, it will be a loss to see you go (to the 993 forum) I sat in the passenger seat on Saturday for the first time ever which was a strange but a necessary evil when you sell a car. I really had to restrain myself from telling him to shift it more smoothly, take the corners a lot faster and to not be afraid to run it up to redline. It was an anxious ride for sure but as a consolation the guy owned 2 944's before so I feel it will go to a "good home" if he does decide to buy it.

Good luck with the sale, its a nice car no question, you just have to find someone who likes it just as much as you do and is willing to pay for a well sorted car.

I work offshore and havent been home in about a week now, wont be home until early June. I literally goto sleep thinking 'sell it' and wake up thinking 'keep it'. I know it will take a long time to sell this car i bet so i figure i get the ball rolling now. But who knows, i may get home in June and change my mind completely.

Ive been talking to the chief engineer on my boat about it (also a big car guy) and he made a very good point when i was explaining to him how torn i was about selling it. He basically said if the thought even crossed my mind, the 'love' of the car is gone. He went through the same thing selling his 'fun car' and said 1 month it was just a quick thought. The next month it was on his mind alot, and the month after that he was just trying to get rid of it. I feel like i am in the same exact train of thought right now.

Well, it's a beautiful ride. May take awhile to sell, but nice turbos are getting really hard to find. The right person will come along.

Hard to beat AWD for a daily driver. But i am looking for a C2, i prefer RWD and less weight.

For the heck of it, PM me details on what you had in mind. Gotta keep an open mind.
