Its Alive!!
Yes it is running, hauling ass and still smoking, But fast as hell! We had some smoke when we bought it off of E-bay! Piston walls looked good when we pulled the head. In its defense it has 160,000 miles on it, if the OD is correct. We will see how well it holds up! We Did 20 3rd gear pulls on it today, and a couple of launches from stand still. NO Detonation!
One thing for sure! 5th gear now has a purpose!! hehe!! It actually pulls real strong in 5th I was amazed. Running 7 PSI and it feels good. It was still pulling at 125 mph today. Going to do some G-tech runs tomorrow. If I can figure out the G-tech. Kevin PCM www.perfectchoicemotorsports.com |
