M030 Sport suspension advice
![]() I have a very nice 87 924S I am considering autocrossing. It has the M030 sport suspension that has Boge (??) shocks that need replacement. I have a used but good set of Yellow Koni front struts I want to swap into the car. I would buy new matching Konis for the rear. Is this the correct way to go? Also wonder about the color code dot on the front springs.........what are the different spring rates available? The springs on the Konis appear to have white paint dots. Thanks in advance. ![]() Well I pulled the front wheels and discovered the Black shocks (Boge???) have adjustable spring perches. Anyone tell me what these are? Can I buy inserts for these shocks? My yellow Konis have fixed spring perches and I would rather have the adjustable ones. Len ![]() Last edited by BoxsterGT; 07-07-2010 at 01:50 PM.. |

924S'es are kind of weird animals. Pelican says that you can buy inserts for Boge struts for your '87 924S, but doesn't mention anything about an M030/Club Sport option.

Perhaps you could put a Koni insert into the front shocks to keep the adjustable perches? Not sure on a 24.

M030 strut assemblies are Koni, and are $850 new here at Pelican. Paragon Products offers a rebuild service to replace the internals with new Koni inserts. Finally, if you ship them to Koni or another rebuilder to be refreshed.
Personally, I just did the Paragon option and was pleased with the results.
