Bent Valves?
Hey guys it looks like I snapped my timing belt recently. They funny thing is i think i snapped it from push starting the car. My question to you is, do you think my valves would be bent? I was pretty stupid and kept cranking the engine not knowing that my timing belt was out... please let me know what you think. thanks!

Yes, I would have to say that you did bend atleast a couple of valves. You could do a compression test with a compression tester to know for sure though.

maybe a "leakdown" type compression tester that uses compressed air, rather than cranking the engine, to reduce any further damage from valves hitting pistons.
Maybe get a mechanics/gunsmiths borescope on loan, then use it to look inside the engine through the sparkplug hole.. You'll be looking for shiny crecent shaped dents on the piston tops. Most of the time, when the cam/timing belt goes, the valves that are still open will have hit the pistons and will either be bent an stuck open, or broken off and rattling around inside the combustion chamber, tearing up your piston/head and cylinder...
