Brake fluid change
I will be changing the brake lines and flushing the brake/clutch fluid, (do not know when the PO did it last not in the records) and want to know does any one make 2 different color brake fluids so next time I can just switch (brand XYZ blue and brand XYZ gold, both DOT) so I can just change flush in the future with out a problem. And does the clutch have to be flushed each time or can that go a few years between flushing? DOT 3 or 4? I know every one has their favorite but this is for my daily hard driver.
thanks |

ATE type 200 - DOT 4
ATE Super Blue racing - DOT 4 same fluid except Super Blue is blue This is what the PCA guys who track their cars recommended and used when they demonstrated flushing/ bleeding brakes during a tech session before track season
