Westhester NY / Metro area get together on August 28th (BBQ and Dyno)
August 28th - New Jersey 951s (and NY, CT, PA) - Rennlist Discussion Forums
Saturday, August 28th. Crossposting this for the metro crowd on here. A few guys over on RL have setup a dyno day / BBQ in Hyde Park NY. Please post on the thread in RL for directions and for more info. An accurate headcount is needed, so PLEASE post there if you intend to go. Starting time is aprox. 1pm. It will be a get together of 944's and a dyno will be on site (Van has one awesome garage).

The 'guest list' is in one of the posts on that thread. Looks to be 10 people + guests so far. Was hoping to get some of the PA area guys on here to take the ride out. The past week of it raining it will be nice to get a good drive in.

Well we had a picture perfect day for this, I met up with Dave and we drove up following each other, got to Van's house (and Garage, very nice) and met a bunch of great 944 owners, I did not Dyno my 944 but there where some great numbers and Porsche conversation, the food was great and after lunch right back to the dyno, there was a lot of finger pointing "I got that, I need that, I want that, where did yo get that" and so on.
I left about 6pm ish and was the first to go but I wanted to say thanks to all and Van for hosting, this is what I got my 944 for, to drive and spend time amongst other Porsche owners "same time next year"???? thanks Van James |
