odometer/speedometer disassembly
 

Well about a month ago my 84 n/a's odometer stopped working (the speedometer was fine though) and I've tried replacing the odometer gear (from pelican btw) with the correct one (opened the guage and tried adjusting the gear three times), changed the speedo cable (had to any way it was squeaking horribly) and the odometer's still not working.
Now I'm thinking about taking the guage apart completely and trying to fix it, if that doesn't work i'll just get a new guage.

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anybodys taken the speedometer apart all the way or has any other tips? Thanks, zack
