what a tank !!!! i just put my 944 8v motor in the scales . it was filled with oil and all part were bolted on (starter, alt. , ac compressure and so on ) just like it would be in the car . total weight was 398 lbs . the chevy 350 motor thats going in only is 53 lbs more with 350 hp

That otter do it...
FG is my eventual plan for the '24s. I had originally thought spec, but they don't run much near here. So I will build it way radical and autocross/DE/enjoy it... But the FG will have to come at a later date. |

i hate to say it but i have 8 944 at this point in time . 3 are race cars one is a spec 944 its fun but there is no real spec 944 in the north east only 44 cup. the other is a full built 191 hp 1865 lbs track day time attack car . and a track loaner track car all most all stock . a customer gave me this car after the t-belt jumped a tooth . so i thought it would be cool if i put a 350 motor in it . i have the motor so the cost should only be about 2000 dollars for the swap . i have a fiberglass nose and hood
