Which Reference Sensor to use with 968 conversion?
 

Which reference sensor do I use for this change over (968 engine into 944)? Some people have told me to use the 968 reference sensor. Others have told me the 968 reference sensor only reads off the dual mass flywheel, so use an S2 reference sensor since I will be using an S2 flywheel. Which is correct?

Are all of the reference sensor connectors the same? I will be using the 968 engine harness, so if the S2 reference sensor needs to be used, will I have to change the connector?

Is the S2 reference sensor the same or different from the 944, 944s, or 951?
