968 Wing on E-bay

Hey i saw this wing while checking out ebay....Starting at $300

..still too much for me. I found a company that sells them new in Europe for like $170, but shipping to the U.S. would be like $150...

To my understanding, though, you spend a fortune in the rubber seals and then you have to drill holes. True?

I believe so. It costs a bundle to convert.

Also: the ad says that it will allow you to turn your 944 into a "turbo look." Not ture: only the 944S2's in 1991 had a wing similar to the 968, and also the very rare 944 Turbo cup cars. The stock 944 Turbo and 944 TurboS had the same spoiler as the n/a's. I know, it's just a technicality, but these are the fact.

Actually, not all the cup cars had this 968-style wing. I think that it was either an option or they were added after the fact. See photo:

all the later turbo's had the "968 style" wing. They just were not brought to the states. The parts also all have 951 part #'s.

Cup card did'nt have the bridge wing , either. I wish they had...
