Radiator Fan Question

The plugs to my radiator fans are torn up so I am having to make new connections. Which way does the fan blow? Towards the engine or out the front of the radiator?
Thanks,
RW

Towards the engine, to suck outside air through the radiator.

Thanks. That is what I thought. I never underestimate the German design and my lack of ability to figure it out.
