Jacobs ignition Wires

Can anybody tell me the part number on these wires? Or even if there are any other cheap sets out there? There is a local shop that can make a wire set or order some for me but they need a part number to compare to.

Thanks in advance.

I won an auction a few weeks back for a set of 8MM Blue wires from Europroducts the final bid was $89. So far they have worked fantastic. Blue stamped with the Porsche script and complete with boots and numbered clips. But now I can't remember whos name was on the actual package. Something like "Wirewerks" or something. Maybe they would sell even cheaper to you direct.

You want to be a bit more specific on what car you have since this is a 924/944/968 tech forum. I believe that there are 3 different ones for the 944(944turbo, S2 and 944S, 944NA). And the 968 has its own number. And i am unaware of the 924.

I bought mine from Summit Racing Equipment (1-800-230-3030) during the summer for $36.99, P/N: JAC-4002407 Ultra Fit Wires. You have to reuse the boots from the old wires. You just twist/pull the boots off the old wires.

I purchased a set of Magnecors a couple weeks back for $65 and they seem to be very good wires. They fit perfect with no modifications to the boot. I was pretty happy with them.

I was going to get the Jacobs but Summit had a three week backorder. So while searching around I found the Magnecors.

do the wires from Europroducts have the good brue connectors? Also does anyone know where you can buy the Packard 440 wire bulk rolls. They are perfect to use with the factory connectors in rebuiling wire sets.

86951,

Try JC Whitney. I think Summit Racing may have bulk Taylor wire.
