NLA Hose

944 110 361 02 Is NLA. Could I just get something from NAPA and cut to fit?

Probably.

There is an "O" ring in the Venturi tube as well.
Bruce Arnn at Arnnworx.com includes it in his TB rebuild kit.

Hmm... I was taking a closer look under the intake manifold and saw probably 3 or 4 others hoses which I had not ordered. The hose I mentioned in this thread actually looks to be in good shape albeit a little hard, however a couple others look deteriorated. Are these all vacuum hoses and what's the full list of "WYAIT" hoses etc while having the intake manifold off. I got the oil fill o ring, AOS top and bottom seal, front and rear ICV hoses. Other things?

In the picture, the plastic 3 line connector tube on the left gets real brittle and breaks when removed. Just see if yours falls apart.

With the intake off, reset the reference sensors, clean grounds, get new hose clamps--not the off the shelf stuff, go OEM =Oetiker style or non perforated screw type.

Rear hose on the ICV under the manifold--since you never want to have a do-over. EDIT --I see you got it.

Get fuel injection kits and clean the injectors or at least new fat "O" rings on the bottom of the injector and FPR you removed.

You recently replaced the heater control valve and hoses so you can cross it off the list.

More intake gaskets

and other things that break

Don't forget the hose that goes to the top of the AOS.
Mine, along with most other hoses were very hard and very brittle.

Here's the ICV and associated hoses.

Don't forget to get the mount for the ICV. One of mine was completely broken.

Intake manifold gasket, check. Sitting in my bedroom. Have a rennbay fuel injector kit. What do you mean by "reset reference sensor"? The Fuel pressure regulator has an o ring? I have to admit I used a store brand hose clamp from Lowe's recently, is there really a difference?

There's a certain gap between the reference and speed sensors, and the flywheel and ring gear. If it's not adjusted correctly it will cause the sensors to not read properly. I never bothered with mine, even when I had some pretty opportune moments...clutch job.. AOS reseal

While you won't find this in the parts catalogue, the FPR (the one on the aft side of the fuel rail.....fwd one is a dampener and has no o-ring).... the FRP uses the same o-ring as the fuel injector.... and if you have a BOSCH injector seal kit, you could also replace the grey plastic spacer.

Good tips by Jackson here:
Intake removal tips and tricks

I guess you mean 4 Rennbay kits.

"Reset reference sensor"
With the intake manifold off, it is easy to pull the reference sensors and make sure they can be removed if necessary. Some will coat with anti sieze when inserting. Then regap.

FPR has an "O" ring same size as the bottom fat injector "O" ring on mine.
Read my post 18 in the Jackson link.

Are you repairing a garden hose or a Porsche? ie Clamps

Thanks guys. Do you have the part number for the ICV mount? I'll try and lookup the other hose's numbers but if somebody knows those that would be swell.

Okay so I found the front and rear hose to the ICV aren't original, it wasn't that soft but I could squish it with two fingers. Says continental on the side and has a PORSCHE sticker on the side. Oh well at least I'll have brand new ones... found that line coming from the metal hose that connects to the J-boot is really hard, the long thin one that goes across the engine bay. The hose that goes to the top of the AOS like you said is rock hard!! The NLA hose on the venturi is a little tough but seems to be in good enough shape. That plastic connector feels like metal on my car, is that possible? maybe it's just that hardened and brittle. I'll see if maybe Sunset Porsche could ship me one for cheap.

I will never understand why the venturi Y-tube running to the brake booster doesn't run in the other direction towards the brake booster. my brake hose kinked because of the 180 bend.

Also there is restricter embedded in the hose in question. it has about a 1/16 in hole in it.
