missing lug nut key
I have a 1984 944 that came with no lug nut key and a flat tire that is dry rotted from sitting for 6 years. the last owner has no clue as to the location of the key. what is the best approach to getting this locking lug nut off if no key can be found or what is the process of getting a new key?

I went to a simple key shop in town. The owner picked the lock and gave me 2 keys for about $25.
You can gorilla the lock and rip off the key lock and get to the lug nut..... Spare tires are always on ebay or post a WTB (want to buy) on the Pelican Parts wanted forum. GL & welcome John |
if it's a porsche "over the top" type lock, dealerships usually have a master set - they might charge to remove it though
snap on makes a removal tool that will do the job, but the lock will be destroyed |
Show a pic. I may have a remedy for less than $1...

Drill bit manufacturers also make a handy removal tool! |
