best solvent ???
What would be a good solvent to prep the metal for the HD gasket and cam housing assembley,..brake -clean ?? Thanks FM

Acetone. Some of the carb/throttle body cleaners have acetone and xylene, which work very well for degreasing and crud busting, but I'm a firm believer in straight acetone right before assembly of any gasketed or sealed surface.
