Alternator

I have a Alt. # 0120 469 559 566 off a '85 944 Build Date 10/84 Is this also correct for a '85 1/2?

They are all the same, if I'm not mistaken.

they are not all the same, later models upgraded to a 115 amp alternator where as early yrs used a 90amp. the mounting leafs are slightly different as well. you can make it work though :)

I've never owned one of the early models, actually. But I am somewhat surprised (disappointed) that they cheaped out on the earlies.
