Talking An "eccentric" 924 in Key West (photo)

I spotted this 924 2.0 last summer.....in where else but Key West, Florida. I thought you all would get a kick out of it.

ummmm. hmmmmmm. i usually would have a smartass remark, but that one just stunned me. wow. so much to say, but impossible to vocalize.

theory: whoever did that was NOT sober when they came up with the idea.

Looks like another "limp hand" owner. KW has an annual parade where they run cars all goofed up. Although I've never seen this one there is an Alfa spider with bits of mirror and tiles on Duval street. It's been there for years, but is only for display unlike this one.

I think I'm going to vomit. And if I did it on the car it would improve the looks of that car. It's an abomination.

Actually there is an entire art socienty that is into: you gessed it "ART CARS." There are national competitions and parades in various states. It is not unusual to see people who glue things all over them. One that I have seen in the past is a Pinto with 200 copies of the same country werstern 45 record glued to it! Weird stuff.

That is obviously an attempt at art - nobody would do that otherwise, would they??

It's very nice though (not really, but I'm sure the person who took the time to glue that much on a Porsche would appreciate me saying so).

I once put Playboy stickers allllll over my Dad's AMC Eagle as a young boy. It was white and the stickers were black. Weird thing is dad didn't attempt to take them off and and didn't scold me for it, but that was the 70's - so who knows what was going thru his head!!

944S Boyee, the 70's? I know what was going through his brain, THC was taking the place of the Anandamide enzyme and causing him to be a nice, tolerant, and fun filled person ;-).

To much GANJA? Is that possible?

i made an "art car" for a school project, I'll try to remember to post some pics. Basically seniors at my high school are allowed a "senior project" we were allowed to propose projects, and virtually everything was approved. We were then given the last 3 weeks of our senior year off to complete our projects. So a friend and I got our art car idea approved. With the help of the body shop at the dealership I work at, and the generous people there, we created an art car. I think you'll find it more tastefull than this 924. All i'm going to say is Ferrari yellow Saab(the car was given to us, thats why we used a Saab) Anyway, I'll post some pics soon
