Light bulbs
Are there any sites out there that display what voltage and wattage all the bulbs are on my car and where they are located? Like the Brake Light. Side Light. Reverse light. Parking light. Dash light (also wondered why its so dim? PO said its like that orginally, true?). What bulbs are recommended and what are not also (brand, wattage, volt, side). I also noticed that my parking light or my side light is a smaller bulb? There are different sizes in this car right?

Owners manual should tell list all the commonly-replaceable bulb types and sizes or at least how to get at them.
If you're asking about the instrument panel lights when you talk about the "dash light", then yes, it's normal for them to be dim. Clark's Garage has a good write-up on those lights and how to make them a little brighter. http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/elect-08.htm

Just because you have an '88 944... http://members.cox.net/njnagel/files/GermanBulbCharts.pdf and... get the clock, climate guage and anything else with the super mineature lamp from Pelican for $1 ea. I just bought a pair locally (PEP Boys) for $5. GL John

Wow. Thanks alot. It seems like small things like light bulbs are hard to find for my 88 944. And those things you are talking about. Mind giving some links?
