Adding tail light bulb?

Just discovered that the middle lower red lens below the reverse light does not have a bulb. Is there a kit to add a extra light? The location is stamped out but no socket.

Yea i also noticed in my 944 that one light bulb lights up 2 sections instead of 1 like the blinker, reverse, and parking light bulb. I've always wondered about this. Same with what bulbs/size to use in each socket on this car. I have no manual either.

The empty light bulb socket is for the rear fog light. If you put a light bulb in there use only a 5watt bulb or it will be too bright. The lens is shaped different.

Cheers,

Great stuff...did a search on tail lights and did not hit that link...anyway my concern was after driving in the fog. I just did not feel the car was lite enough.

Are the lights listed on this link you gave me not the recommended ones? I'm confused when it says that these will make your taillights too bright? What ones are the stock/recommend ones?

Tail Light |900 631 104 90| R5W| 5007 (1)
Front or Rear Side Marker (USA only?) |900 631 104 90| R5W| 5007 (1)

(1) – Osram/Sylvania catalog lists R10W/5008 for these lights – this is WRONG and will make your taillights too bright.
