Ian's Europarts Rebuilt Transmission
Hi all!
I am looking for a rebuilt transmission for an '84 944. Ians Europarts quotes $1300. Is that a good price? Anyone done business with them before? Are they good? Any other places you know of? Thanks! Brian |

I've purchased a large quantity of cosmetic parts from them (almost the entire interior of my 83) and he has really gone out of his way to make sure everything was right and that it worked. I've only purchased a few mechanical parts from him (window motors, etc) and all of them have worked and been in very good condition. So far he has been VERY reasonable for parts.
Any other opinions welcome..... Chris |

Ian rocks! Never had any problems, and he has supplied me with some parts that were hard to find. He even went so far as to print up a parts diagram with part#'s and faxed it to me to make sure we were on the "same page", so to speak. I plan on making a rather large purchase from him next week myself.....

How about used instead.
Just for your information I can provide you with a 1987 924S transmission with 53K miles on it for $550. Or a 1988 951 transmission with 75K miles on it for $900. Plus ship if you are not able to pick it up in Mass, NH area.
