door handles? good deal?

just got 2 exterior early 944 door handles (mine have been acting up) for $61.00, that includes shipping. good deal?

if I'm not mistaken the handles on the 944 are from the VW rabbit/Golf. they go for $15 each new including lock and key. They at least look the same as the ones on my 944 and I have heard they work but I have not tried it.

yeah, these are off of a 944... most of the other early 944 door handle sets i saw were going like $200 +.

That is still a good deal though. My door wouldn't lock from the outside today so I started to wonder so I priced out the handles. These don't happen to say Porsche on them do they?
Does your car not lock with the door open on the drivers side?

the passenger side is a little rough when you open it.. and the drivers sid is really really hard to open ( you have to keep yankin on it to get it open)

I think they are out of adjustment.

i know what the problem is, there is a little indinted metal part on the inside that has worn down to much so it barly contacts that bar
