Custom Steering wheel hub

I HATE the stock position of the early 944's steering wheel, so I did something about it. Using the orig. hub and collapsible mount I fabbed up a 4" longer hub. the centre piece is from a cookie cutter wheel centre cap.

Took me about 6 hours of machining and welding(I am a certified SS Tig welder by trade)

it looks good but you do know you can buy spacers from momo , sparco and the rest of the bigger CO.s that make steering wheels do the same thing you just spent 6 hours building . the down side to just buying some thing . you can't say i designed and built that .
