New Porsche 944 Owner
Hi Pelican,
I just picked up a 1985.5 944 with 92,500 miles and had a few questions. One of them is when I put the key in and turn it once so it is on the acc mode(I think), air is blowing through the vents even though everything is turned off on the ac controls. My other question is when I turn on the headlights, the headlights pop up but not all the way up(pictures bellow). When I turn off the headlights, the headlights move up and then move back down to their resting position. Is their a way to adjust them so they move all the way up when I turn the switch or did someone install sleepy eyes? Sorry for the iPhone pictures Thanks Jon ![]() Last edited by jonvi88; 08-25-2015 at 08:23 PM.. Reason: mistake |

Welcome, there is a procedure in Clarks Garage online for cleaning the sector area in the headlamp actuation assembly. That will take care of your "sleepy eyes" condition. Can't say about the "ACC" position for the ignition switch on your car, mine is an 83 and does not have that function.

ACC position drives an air circulation fan and enables the motor drive for removing the sunroof and using the radio.
