Where is the water pump located?....

The haynes book says that it has like two tubes connected to it, the lower radiator hose and the heater hose. Well I followed my lower radiator hose to what looks like the water pump, only if it's so then mine has like three. One hose being the lower radiator hose and the other goes some where and the last to this brown container floating above everything on the right side. The what looks to be pump is right next to my oil filter, slightly below it....does that sound right? Now the block plug on it would be under it or what, cause i didnt see it..then again it started raining so i didnt look to hard

The one circled is the reservoir for the power steering. The other is closer. The sater pump is actually located right beside the oil filter. It's too hard to see it from the outside, it's practically hidden.

go to the engine section of the manuale it should give you a better view. On my 81 924 the water pump is located below and to the right of the cam gear cover. On yours Im not sure. I am jelous of how clean your engine compartment is though.
