What should I do?

Well here goes, I have about 700-1000 dollars to spend on my car, what should I get? The only thing I really need, is to change the lifters, but that will cost about 400 bucks! Unless somebody can verify that I can put some good used lifters on my existing cam will be ok. I have 3 or 4 good used ones laying around. I only have about 1 or 2 making noise. Well I want to spend the money on performance parts, such as FR Wilk's computer deal or strut tower brace, sway bars, throttle body bored, test pipe, header, and maybe a performance cam. Please don't tell me to go and put a down payment on a 951 as much as I would love to. I already have a intake port matched and ready to go,so I hope that will help,I already have NOS too. Well fell free to give me idea's, It's a 83 944.
TIA

P.S. I forgot to list crap done already,
H&R front springs
Thottle cam
NOS
New toyo tires
MSDS air intake
Jacob wires
Bosch+4 plugs
lowered
tinted windows
damn near perfect interior
paint is ok for now
runs good and strong
new exhaust from cat back
and every thing works

Cool

Well........ sounds like you've almost reached the limit !!!!

A few ideas :

- Can you use a chip and NOS at the same time ?
- Heavy Duty/Turbo anti-roll bar ?
- You could always strip some of the creature comforts out of the
car (if you can live with that!!) it'll obviously give you better
throttle response and slightly better acceleration
- Up-rated brakes (from S2 or Turbo)...??
- You considered replacing the factory ignition system?

Just outta interest, how much of an improvement did the Jacob wires and plugs give your car ???

justin,

hey man. did you go back and find your exhaust tip?? might wanna pick up one of those too!

Oh, btw i found a back glass at some random place in Ft Worth. 150 with spoiler. but no tint. oh well.

And while your blowing $1000 on your car, dont forget to change the fuel filter.

i think you should fix the stuff needing repair, like lifters , and buy a rear valance. then buy a keg, bring it over here, and put the rest in the bank, for when you fly off the highway the first time you drive your car in the rain.

LOL Paul.... well I still don't know what to do, If I put the money in the bank I'll blow it on bills and shet,(don't want to do that) but I'm sure I will put some of it in the bank.

Deeks, I don't want to tear the almost perfect interior out of my car,the 951 sway bars are a good idea though.
FR Wilk said there is a switch to turn from stock to the performance chip, so if I want to run NOS all I have to do is flip the switch and it goes back stock (I think I heard him right anyway, someone correct me if I'm wrong) Then flip it back when I'm done playing with the nitrous.
Any other ideas out there.....TIA

You're biggest improvement will be to spend as much as you can on Driver's Ed.

Looking at all you've done already... I'd say it's header and test pipe next... should be able to do that under budget.

Try and find sway bars off a (knock on wood) wrecked 951 somewhere that you can get cheap.

I think throttle boring comes after headers.

If your going to do the strut tower brace, do it with poly bushings at the same time to make it effective, and doing that adds an alighnment to the job if you don't already have them.
