968 cabriolet part Help
 

this is for a friend of mine. He owns at 92 968 cab. I can't seem to find anything or anyone who knows about the parts in the cabriolet. I need two of these parts, one left and one right. on the part I can only find this number "RH 3236A." I'm thinking that the "RH" is right hand, but I can't find anythig with 3236A. If I remeber right, porsche sourced the cabriolets to other company, so they didn't make it themself. porsche will only sell me a whole new top, at like $2000.

On this pic, you can see there the part is and where it is broken in half. it just snaped in half. it looks like it is made out of some weird material, its almost like a mix of ceramic and metal. its also very light.

The cabs WERE contracted out by Porsche. They were modified by ASC.

You might have luck getting parts from them.
