power steering rack center
as far as centering the power steering rack. i guess i should have read a little before installing. i have already installed everything
i just went and pulled the plug and ( drum roll ) BAM !!! there was the red dot. lucky me, or was i. it was off center +- 1/8 of an inch with my wheel position squared up. i am pretty sure i was flat with the shaft during installation; or i am guessing i wouldn't been able to install the locking bolt. do yall think it will be ok.thanks, rick

Wouldnt think so, But I cant remember how the shaft from the rack lines up with the steering linkage. I thought the bolt just tightens the ''clamp'' onto the racks shaft.

I would leave it.
When I did the PS rack on my '88, I did have the "centering pin" installed. I had to unbolt my steering wheel to recenter inside the car. I did have the tie rods marked. I rechecked my alignment (DIY) and all good. You could go to an alignment shop and have them check. GL John
