Dino steering wheel into an 86 944?

Can anybody help me out here? I have an 86 944 (so no airbag) and I want to replace the stock leather wheel with a smaller unit with a larger rim for autocross. I already own a Dino wheel (80's flashback) that I would like to use. It has the 6-bolt pattern, but I don't know if it's the same as the Grant or Sparco patterns.

Any advice? Where can I buy adapters? Should I abandon this wheel and buy something that's pre-engineered outright?

Thanks!

Dino's are similar to the Momo pattern, but are sometimes larger. Measure the bolt pattern spacing.

I have one in my 79 924.

Picked up a Grant 5-bolt adapter for the 924/944 and then bought a Grant to Momo adapter. The Momo adapter was marked, then drilled and tapped to use the larger Dino/Lecarra pattern.

You can find a Momo to Dino/Lecarra pattern adapter as well, use that with a Momo adapter for the 944, which will be more expensive, but it will work without drilling, etc.

Here's an old thread that shows the Momo adapter with the adapter for the Dino pattern....

BTW, here's one of the the adapters I was thinking of:

Works Bell Personal/Nardi to MOMO/Sparco Hub Adapter (Black) - P/N: 010038

Yep, figured that out pretty quickly. Not many folks would sign up with a screen name like that on a Porsche message board (says the guy with Fiat22Turbo as a screen name on multiple Porsche boards, heh)
