it's painted
I have a bit of the flu but painted my car any way. It turned out real nice considering I haven't painted a car in over 30 years. These pics. don't do justice because of the shadows and being white. but here they are any way.

It turned out way better than I thought it would but there is one small run on rt lower fender and 2 bugs landed, but I think I am going to assemble the car and drive it as is then this fall touch up where needed but it is shinny like a mirror on %90 of it..

what is it about bugs? I had just finished putting the final coat on my 1971 240Z and a bug landed on the roof. It's hard to touch up a metallic paint finish.

sound's good...i can only hope mine come's out the same..last time i painted a hand full of dogwood cotton ball's fell on my wet paint when i but it in the sun to dry..

once the finish is totaly cured take a razor blade and hold it almost straight up and down and back blade it across the run to scrape the run out . then wet sand and buff it . white is one of the hardest colors to see when your spraying it . the best way to see the way it's laying down when your spraying light colors like that is to look at it from the side .

thanx 962, I never heard of the razor thing but sounds to work fine, I use this when I clean the last little bit of gasket off of a surface. The few spots that need attention are not going to interfere with the assembly so I can touch up after it's together..
