Weak electronics

I have the following issues with my 83 944:
Dim interior & head lights, slow electric windows & windshield wipers

Basically all electronics are slow and/or dim. I have checked the voltage in different areas and it is 12v.

Will replacing the alternator fix this issue?

Have you cleaned your grounds? What is the voltage at the battery with the car running? Should be around 14 volts if alternator is working.

ck your battery voltage running should be 13.5 to 14 volts
If thats good start looking for dirty grounds

The only ground that I have worked on is the battery ground. I cleaned the connection with a wire dremel tool. Are there other grounds that should be cleaned?

Battery is 14v.

Sounds like the alternator is working. Check the grounds at the rear of the engine, near the headlights, behind the dash and in the hatch area. You can search the forum and find a diagram of the grounds.
