Another weird electrical problem.....
 

So it happened once ....didn't think much of it.... but

lately its been happening a lot more often........


1. lights on ...heater fan on...stereo on .... in car cellphone on..

2. Shut the lights off then ....keys off, pull keys out........ everything else stays on.

3. but if I just turn the light switch to the first click and then off.........everything shuts off?

I thought at first my ignition switch was starting to go...... but then the light switch turning it off???? throws me for a loop...

I don't have a wiring diagram handy but it sounds like something is sticking and throwing the parking light load on and off unsticks it. Perhaps a relay is wearing out in such a fashion that it doesn't want to let go? I've seen some funny relay contact points that have had metal melted in strange formations.
