Yet another tire thread

I hate to start another thread on tires, but I do have an odd situation. My car is a 1988 na. It has 16" phone dials. It came with 215 60 16's up front, 225 5016's in back. The question is whether I should go with 205 55 16's up front? Any comments on favorite brands and models appreciated.

If you want neutral handling I will go with same size all around 225/50/16 but for a little understeer it will be best with 225/50/16 -front ___245/45/16- rear.Asking for a favorite brands is like opening a can of worm. All I can tell you is my personal taste are Falken Tires. Also there is nothing wrong running 205/55/16 -front & 225-50-16 rear on your 944,telling you this cause this is the combo I had on my 83-944 for years & was very satisfy with it.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo.../coffeecup.gif
