Condition of spark plug
 

Hi

Yesterday when I was going over the car I checked the spark plugs out of curiosity. The spark plugs are new and have been running for about 1000 km of city drivning, high way and one track day that lasted for about 40 min. They almost look like new and the insulator is all white...Which makes me confused!

Is this a overheated spark plug or normal condition for a pretty new plug?

if you have this colour on track is possible because of hight rpm and heat,but for normal driving the colour tell that the mixture is lean,
normal color is gray with a little brownisch tone or light brown.
maybe you have a vacuum leak and the afm don't have the right information.

At full trottle the O2 sensor is bypassed so if you drive the car in full trottle a lean setup mixture is lean for real.
At partial load the O2 sensor must do the right mixture if it's in function and in good shape.

So for a track day car this could be normal due to higher rpm and nothing to worry about? Was my first time at the track and I didnt really push the car that hard

During the 1000km that the spark plugs has been used, the track only stands for about 70 km.

My concern is if the engine is overheating. The spark plugs that I replaced didnt look like this but they hade been there for a longer period of time/distance.

But I will check for vacuum leak, any method you recommend?
