Rasta, I know a guy that runs them on his LT1 944 and he thinks they are good. I don't know much about them and I am leaning towards the Racer's Edge plates because they don't raise the ride height.

I believe those are essentially the ones we've been running on the #77 for going on a decade... though ours are supplied by Paragon, it's the same design, perhaps just made under contract.

Went for these, they are great. Very impressed with design. . .upper spherical bearing does not get ANY axial loading, as the weight of the car is supported by a bearing built into the spring hat that comes with the unit.

It was also a big help getting rid of the factory bits, one of which had a broken bearing!

Rasta, did they alter the ride height at all? I considered GC camber plates but didn't know if it would alter the height of the car or not.

Ride height could be a problem, although they do sell both a top mount and a bottom mount plate.

However, their coilover kit with adjustable front ride height is pretty cheap, and as long as you're upsetting the alignment anyway. . .

How much caster do they give you? My 83 has almost no caster adjustment.

Spec is 2.3-3.0*, but the best any alignment tech has been able to get is 2.1*.

The car had front end damage years ago and that may have squished everything to the back.

The car drives and handles well, but with negative the caster, it tends to follow bumps and the steering is very reactive, which I dislike.

Would these plates help a problem like that?
