Wheel Studs!!!!
Sorry about the ramblings, but I got my new wheel studs today and am a little too excited (sad huh?)
I a rebuilding my 944 as an all out race car and refurbishing everything to make sure its reliable. I needed longer studs for the use of spacers and to make sure I had plenty of thread engagement on the nuts. I found that SwayAway makes High Grade Alloy Steel wheel studs for Porsche/VW. They were cheaper than stock and to my surprise despite being an inch longer they weighed less too! They were a direct replacement and are really nice quality. I rebuilt all the bearings and hubs and calipers as well as I painted everything. there will be a post when I get it all done, describing the 6 mo. rebuild.

holy bringing threads back from the dead!!
I did not get the ones with starter leads. I have liked them so far, only problem is that I can't put the center caps of the BBS wheels on.
