Feeler: Torque Tube Bearing Sleeves

Would anyone be interested in buying delrin sleeve inserts that go into the bearings for the torque tube carriers? It doesn't seem like anyone makes them. How much would you be willing to pay (per set of four?)

I hope Wayne doesn't have a problem with this (he doesn't seem to sell them.) If so, I apologize and feel free to delete this thread.

Justin

Two places sell them but I think only one of them makes it out or derlin. And they wanted something like 20-40$ each . Question is how much does it cost you to make them and how many would you have to make for it to be cost effective.

And what would be gained, other than additional noise & vibration? Mine are still good after 31 years.

When you take the torque tube apart to change the bearings, you have to take the sleeves out. These will sometimes break during removal.

I don't think it will be cost effective if there is not much of a demand for them.

Right, I guess I was wondering about the choice of material.
