Oil Spritz Out Exhaust / No Smoke / Ideas?
Fellow Pelicans, when I start my 88 911, there is oil spraying/misting onto the pavement. Very small droplets or particles. I have been reading the board and haven't seen this issue. There is no smoke. Any ideas?

Is your car a 944 or a 911 - This may be the wrong Forum.
For 944's it is sometimes the AOS seals that will force oil into the intake and on through.

It is a 911...there is a Catalytic Converter...if you have any ideas, it would still be appreciated...posting in 911 thread as well (not sure how I mis-posted).

are you sure it's oil? moisture that has condensed in the exhaust can bring carbon deposits out the tailpipe in a dark looking fluid mix that is possible to mistake for oil. worth a double-check!

Agreed...re-posted in the 911 forum and many of the responses had the same sentiment. I took my car for some minor work prior to the DE, and the mechanic suggested I might need something done...typical. thank you for the input.
