found out I have up and down play because my strut inserts are blown.
Side to side play from drivers side ball joint. My question would be how hard would strut inserts be to install? and how hard is the ball joint is it pressed in or do i need to buy a new controll arm which I dont wanna do (500 bucks) ![]()

What year vehicle? You can rebuild both steelnand aluminum control arms. Struts are the same as any other car with them, spring compressor, impact gun yada yada. On those that have a sealed cartridge you need to
Cut and drill The original case to add inserts not sure what year you have to do that but it is possible to do either way |

Paragon has a service where they install Koni inserts into non-rebuildable struts.
I have't done the aluminum arm refresh, but I hear it is a pretty straighforward job. Check out the directions here: Rennbay - Porsche 944 ball joints, power steering, brakes, odometer gears & accessories
