Wanted:1984 944 sunroof mechanism
I would like to purchase a sunroof mechanism for my 1984 944. One of the lifting fingers is broke (yes I know this is odd but was that way when I bought it) I would like to get the whole enchilada - that is to say the motor, cables, gearbox, fingers, etc.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a pre 1985.5 944 which had the 924 interior AND the sunroof gearbox is not serviceable (it is a sealed plastic box that can not be opened) and the cables are press fitted. If you have one I would like to get a good look at it to make sure it will fit before I buy it, hopefully I can find someone is southern Calif. with a 924 or 944 they are parting out. I have a few other interior pieces I could use but I would like to see them first hand to make sure they match my car. Thanks
