New England Car Show
Hey all - I posted this in O.T., and this is kind of a shameless plug, but as a H.S. English teacher, I am also the faculty laison for our school's Automotive Club. Well, we are having our first annual car show on TOMORROW, June 10, in the rear parking lot of Avon High School.
The car show will be used as a fund-raiser for club activities, including the repair and maintenance of a donated car that we are going to be working on (a Datsun Z-car) as well as the eventual purchase of a project car for the club. Admission is free; there will be a raffle, as well as refreshments and food for sale. Awards will be given out for Best of Show, People's Choice, etc. If you have a "vehicle of interest" please feel free to bring it. We welcome all types of sports cars, muscle cars, off-roaders, hot rods, and motorcycles. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please let them know... or, if you just want to swing by and see some nice cars, please do swing by. I'll certainly be there with my 951... in any case, there is a lot of interest already - including some Italian exotics and many muscle cars - but if I can round up a slate of Porsches and Bimmers to help make this event a success, then all the better! -CJ Fusco
