Option codes BT2 and c77

Anybody know what they refer to?

Never have heard of an option code that didn't start with an "M".

On the other hand those numbers look like trim codes - ???

I can see the BT= body trim. The 87 S had this pin stripping. But the C 77 ? The 88S has a c03 which is the California Type, what ever that means. The 87S has the sports packet, suspension, steering wheel, tires, and seats. I read that there was only 100 made.

"California Type" is a car made specifically to be sold in CA.....had to meet tougher Emissions Standards. There was a time (until CA got sued and lost), that if you brought a NON-CA car into the state, to register it you either had to upgrade to CA emissions standards, or pay a VERY HEAVY tariff.
