Paint stripper for wheels?

I'm thinking of refinishing my cookie-cutters, and have seen several references to the use of 'aircraft' quality paint stripper to remove the clearcoat.

I'm having difficulty sourcing this stuff in Australia - can anyone tell me the difference between this & normal stripper ?

Is it a different active ingredient, or is it just a stronger concentration - most seem to have methelyne chloride/phenol/ammonia in various concentrations.

Hey, I've used the Aircraft stripper. I think it is just a name thing, I would guess they are all basicly the same. Have you asked any body shops in your area?

i am also thinking about refinishing mine, only also painting them silver...
