what in the hell is that...

928.612.411.00 catalog says it's an electrical connector...for the clutch?

Dipped in a thermal cement. Normal.

Maybe they paint it on but it supposed to be there. Not sure what the heck it does though

Its some kind of voltage step down. Measure voltage on both sides to confirm its working

That is the resistor pack for the fans. The contacts get all corroded and will cause the blower to only work on 4.
