Need some Vacuum line routing help.
Hello all,
I just replaced my heater control valve (although Im not sure that it is going to fix the problem) and I am not sure where two of the lines go. One I thought goes to the heater control valve and is a black line with a 90deg bend connector on the end and comes from the right side of the engine (circled in green in my picture). The other line is a blue line with a straight connector that is coming from behind and underneath the rear of the fuel rail/cam cover etc. Where do these lines go? I have a feeling the blue line is the one that is supposed to go to the heater control valve but where does the one from the right come from? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1309206230.jpg |
Im trying to use this diagram that I just found to help me. Looks like the black line is from 'control valve II'. Also a check valve was loose that I put onto a larger vacuum manifold that runs along the top of the firewall.

Ok, I think that i figured it out, the blue hose is supposed to go to the heater, the black goes to a port on top of the engine.
