in need of a tenison rod
Hi all,
I'm in need of a 86 944 n/a Alternator tensioner rod. I believe the local auto store sold be the wrong belt that was about an inch to long and in order to get it tight enough the threads needed to be spun fairly far out which in turn caused the rod to fail : ( Anybody have anything like this? will pay for the part and shipping of course! I hate not being able to drive my baby for such a small reason!

the tensioner is $62 and a belt is $10, why don't you order the proper belt from Pelican.
and if the belt you have is too long, a new tensioner won't help you.
