Priviate pilot and I have a motorcycle licence (but have neither vehicles). I take a sunfish out every once in a while, but I wear top-siders everyday . I also golf a lot.

I had forgotten to mention my motor cycle which I completely restored, it was the fastest road bike when it came out in 1983.

I've got a couple older motorcycles, a 1984 CB700SC and a 1987 VFR700FII. The CB is really nice, and has 36k miles on it. The VFR has 1700 miles on it, and for all intents and purposes is like riding a new bike! Been riding since '04, my first bike was a 1990 Kawasaki EX500.

I'm also into a fair bit of R/C aviating both fixed and rotor wing. I've been into that since '03 or so, started doing the airplanes and it kinda went from there. Electric only so far - keeps everything clean.

I wouldn't call it a hobby, but I'm also a CFI. I've got nearly 1000 hours and though I haven't been flying much recently because of my full time job, I'm hoping to get back to it.

I'm always happy to see how many of us are pilots - it reminds me that there are a lot of like-minded people on the forum that have very similar interests, and that's why we all get along so well

...for the most part...

I guess we own 944's because we spend 911 kind of money on flying.

I will take a 944 and a pilots licence over a 911 and a midlife crisis any day!
