Fuel injector cleaner...thoughts?

Not that I am having any problems, but since this car is new to me I thought I might run some fuel injector cleaner through it.

Any thoughts on using FI cleaner in the 944?

Thanks,

GHEN

If you buy off the shelf, at least spend the $$ and get the Chevron supreme? super HD cleaner.

The rest of the bottles do no more than clean out your wallet.

I use Chevron Techron every once in a while. Don't know if it helps, but it's not hurt. I've heard Sea Foam is good, but haven't tried it.

well, if you truly want to do it right go buy the injector flush kit and not something that you pour into the gas tank. would also consider a de-carb while your doing that MOC sells a pretty good kit for this

BG 44K works really well. I did remove my injectors and had them cleaned and flowed matched here locally. Ran me about $40? I took the guy 8 and he picked the best 4. But that was for my race car.

chevron. techron. is. the. only. thing. that. works. everything else is light diesel fuel/kerosene and alcohols sometimes with a detergent load. sometimes includes light oils to lubricate and offset the detergent properties and light fuels drying up oil films on moving parts.
