1987 944S for sale (Massachusetts) $3,500

I'm looking to get back what I have into it, $3,500
Guards Red with black interior. 188hp 16v 2.5L DOHC 4-cyl motor, (not the 8v 150hp motor). I recently bought this car, drove it for a few months, did some repair work, then came across another car that is in better shape that I have decided to fix up instead.

Recent inspection of timing belt, balance shaft, water pump by mechanic. New thermofan switch, cam seal, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs. MAF and throttle position sensor recently replaced. Recently replaced catalytic converter, airbox with K&N air filter. Windshield appears to have been replaced recently. Clutch has lots of life in it and the car shifts smoothly. Brake pads all seem relatively new.
Suspension and steering are very tight, very fun to drive! Has a couple of scratches and dings here and there and the interior is in OK shape. Both front seats are rough and currently have seat covers on them. car has just over 162,000 miles on it. Recent MA inspection sticker.

Problems:
Dent in passenger side front 1/4 (see first picture)
Spedometer/odometer stopped working about 100 miles ago. Remote mirrors don't work, rear wiper doesn't work. Missing trim panel in roof of car that covers the sunroof gear boxes, 6x9" speaker holes cut into rear rug, in dash clock doesn't work, cruise control doesn't work, passenger side window comes off the track if you lower it too far (inside of the door), remote rear hatch motor works, but doesn't release the hatch for some reason. Windshield washer squirt things don't work. Windshield wiper motor will not store wiper blades. (the wipers work, but when you shut them off, they just stop wherever they are, they don't stow away automatically. I just hit the off switch when the wipers are at the lowest point)

This one is definitely worth restoring.
Please email with questions!
