I sold my 924S yesterday :(
Well guys, yesterday was a sad day.
After 5 years, I sold my red 87 924S. I had left the car in Missouri after taking a job in Los Angeles last June, and didn't have the space for it here in Hermosa Beach. I never thought I would sell it as it had a large sentimental value for me, but I figured it was better to let someone else have fun with it than to let it sit and rot. I sold it to a friend of a friend who will be driving it on a regular basis, I believe. The car runs absolutely flawlessly, as before I had left for CA I had finished up most every maintenance item that needed addressed. I sold the car for less than what was probably market value, yet still for more than my original purchase price. All in all, over 5 years and countless hours of fun and learning, I probably came out almost exactly even on the deal. My daily drive is a '00 986S, which is a great successor and far quicker, but I still love the character of 944 series cars, and will probably own another in the future if I ever gain some garage space. I would like to thank everyone on this board for the learning experience that was working with that car; I hope I have also been able to give back by sharing the experience of some of my wrenching.

Sorry to hear it man. A great car. Good thing you didn't advertise it, or I would have done something stupid....
